Lecture: Early Intervention in Psychotic Disorders-Where Are We and Where Are We Going?
Dr. Öngur a native of Istanbul, Turkey is William P. and Henry B. Test Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and Chief of the Psychotic Disorders Division at McLean Hospital. He has authored over 300 articles on neurobiology, bipolar disorders, and schizophrenia with a focus on trajectories in early phases of illness. Dr. Öngur has won awards from McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and the Kempf Award from the APA for his teaching and mentoring. He also serves as the Editor of JAMA Psychiatry, a premier journal in the field.
