Lecture: The Clinical High-Risk Syndrome for Psychosis: Past, Present, and Future
Dr. Woods is Professor of Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine and Director of the PRIME Clinic for the clinical management of clinical high-risk states (formerly schizophrenia prodrome). Dr. Woods’ commitment to the assessment and treatment of the schizophrenia prodrome spans over 30 years, from his early engagement in neuroimaging studies to his testing of novel pharmacogenomics for schizophrenia, and his contributions have been seminal and transformative to the field of schizophrenia research. Dr. Woods recently received a $52 million NIH award (ProNET Consortium) to support the creation of a large consortium to recruit, follow, and treat individuals in clinical high-risk states.
