Dr. McGlashan, Professor of Psychiatry at Yale University and CEO of the Yale Psychiatric Institute, has dedicated his career to advancing the understanding and treatment of schizophrenia. He trained at the University of Pennsylvania, Dartmouth, Harvard, and the Washington Psychoanalytic Institute, and previously led research at Chestnut Lodge Hospital and the NIH. A member of the APA’s DSM-IV Workgroup on Psychotic Disorders, he has received major honors including the Presidential Award for Research and the Silvano Arieti Award. Dr. McGlashan has authored or co-authored over 130 scientific publications and several books.
