Dr. Martin is a practicing psychiatrist, Martin is associate dean for research and assistant professor of psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Chief Medical Information Officer for Queens Health Network in New York.
Dr. Martin said that during his tenure he wants to focus on improving technology to support the full-year work of the Assembly and its meetings, such as electronic voting and wireless access. He hopes to improve communications of the Assembly and worked with APA President Renee Binder, M.D., to coordinate the activities between the Assembly and other sections of the APA.
