Dr. Johnson was in private practice in Hartford Connecticut and senior psychiatrist at Hartford Hospital. He served on the APA American Hospital Association Liason Committee. He was chairman of the Assembly committee on membership and a member of the advisory council to the Connecticut Board of Health and served as APA Speaker of Assembly from 1972-1973.
