Editor in Chief, Psychiatric News (2010-2012)
Dr. Robinowitz served as interim Editor in Chief of Psychiatric News beginning in 2010. During her tenure, she launched the daily PN Alert, introduced a column on literary works, and encouraged resident physicians to contribute more frequently to the publication. She joined APA in 1979 as Deputy Director of the Office of Education, later serving for 10 years as Senior Deputy Medical Director under Dr. Melvin Sabshin. Dr. Robinowitz also served as President of APA from 2007 to 2008.
