Lucy D. Ozarin, M.D., M.P.H. (1914-2017)
Dr. Ozarin, received her M.D. from New York Medical College and a degree in public health from Harvard University. A member and Fellow of APA for 59 years, she volunteered in the APA library for 15 years, serving as Chair of the History and Library Committee. She was also a book review editor for the APA Journal—now Psychiatric Services—for 20 years. Since 1989, Psychiatric News has published 51 of her history notes.
