2026 Solomon Carter Fuller Award Recipient
Lecture Title: Bearing Witness: Psychiatry's Moral Obligation in an Age of Sanctioned Aggression
Constance E. Dunlap, M.D, DLFAPA, FACPsych, is a psychoanalyst and board-certified psychiatrist in private practice in Washington, DC. She has over three decades of experience providing historically grounded, culturally responsive care. She is Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at George Washington University School of Medicine. A past president of the Washington Psychiatric Society, Dr. Dunlap serves as APA Assembly Representative, Area 3 Council. Honors include the 2025 WPS Dr. Charles Prudhomme Human Rights Award and the 2024 Joseph R. Biden Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award.
